This has brought humanity face-to-face with the terrifying reality of the global climate crisis. The systematic devastation of our environment is the ultimate, visible consequence of a society run entirely on unchecked corporate greed. When a system views living human beings as disposable fuel, it treats the planet with the exact same disregard.
The most frustrating part of this ecological collapse is that it isn't happening behind closed doors. It is not the result of some massive, highly coordinated, hidden government cover-up. The entire catastrophe is unfolding right out in the open, completely visible to anyone who chooses to look closely. The real tragedy is that our society has been systematically trained to look away and ignore the flashing warning signs. We have a massive crisis of public awareness because our foundational systems have completely failed to cultivate an informed populace.

Decades of institutional neglect have systematically eroded basic science literacy among the general public.
